Seneca Pines Lodge

Spent one night here as we were in town to do a via ferrata as well as some hiking at Seneca rocks. My wife did the research on this place so she knew about this and I didn't. From the outside, I was a little uncertain initially as it looks like a motel. Once inside, it's very nice for a one night stay. Up to date stuff, comfortable and nice for two people. It would be nice if there were some plates and silverware but the room is small so I get not having those amenities. The lodge is very easy to find and access and is in a great location for hiking and outdoor exploration. Ample parking and close to the respective rooms. Check-in and out was super easy. The place was quiet during the day and night. It can be a little loud sporadically with traffic but it's much less than a typical highway would be. Everything was clean and orderly. Wifi was good, had no problems. Cell service in the area is very poor. Short distance from the main intersection where there's food and such. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was very cute and clean, and the beds were so comfortable! The kitchenette was nice, although a few plates/silverware would have been appreciated. Make sure you check your email for check in instructions. And I do wish there was an extra lock for security on the inside of the door. Amazing view of the stars at night! Overall would definitely recommend staying here, it’s so close to the Seneca Rocks trailhead and was a pleasant stay.

Easy to find. Good communications. Odd that the outside looks like Ft Apache but the inside is rather chic. Good bed, slept well. Good shower and nice touch with the kitchenette, sink and cool fridge/freezer. Door and door lock are the only thing I didn't care for. Code wouldn't work for a while and it's hard to tell if the door is actually locked when you're inside. There was coffee which I don't drink. If there had been tea bags I would have made a cup of tea. The boutique soaps are a nice touch also, I used both.

Pros: Room was clean and large, with a comfortable bed and kitchenette. Newly remodeled and has large TV with ability to sign in to your streaming services. Cons: Needs a shelf in bathroom to place personal things as the sink is tiny, needs a small table/chairs as most hotels have, needs a full length mirror somewhere... basically it was really hard to find anywhere here to do hair/make-up, etc as there is no counter space or tables anywhere.. also, no where in bathroom for things like contact solution, Electric razor, etc... there is also a step up into the bathroom that was doable but not great in the dark or if you have knee issues. Also, one end of the hotel has a house with numerous barking dogs, but there is a white noise maker in the room and the walls are thick so I rarely heard them.

Very well taken care of. The outside may be iffy but me personally gives a rustic feel. We were able to check in early all we had to do was give them a call. We also had some issues with the door code but was able to call and get it situated right away. We stayed in a double bed room. You walk in and get a fresh clean scent which is super nice unlike some places. Room was very clean! Very up to date on design. Beds were firm and comfortable The bathroom was beautiful shampoo, conditioner provided. Coffee and mugs provided as well though there wasn't any coffee filters but that's okay . Tvs are roku's also up to date on TV which was nice. Overall we would highly recommend this place

Great place to stay if you want to explore the area. It is cozy and has all the important amenities. My only minor issue was with the fan noise of heating unit and our inexperience to control it. The lodge has an electric car charger, which I have not discovered until the morning (we have arrived after sunset). All and all it is a great place and would consider staying here again!

I found this place while looking for lodging on Google Maps for our climbing trip and had to do a double take. The pictures looked cute, the reviews were great, but the price…affordable is an understatement. I thought this place was too good to be true, but booked our room and crossed my fingers. Before we arrived I took a look at the guestbook and was very impressed! Incredibly well done, helpful and cute! When we arrived for check in, the neighbors have some very chatty dogs and we were in the room closest to them so we were a little nervous. Thankfully, the walls of the hotel were thick enough to drown out most of the noise and our sound app on my phone did the rest. The mattress was very comfortable, the room was clean the decor was cute and I loved the branded coffee mugs. We will definitely be back!

Not just your ordinary hotel room, Seneca Pines Lodge has modern amenities including a rain shower, large TVs and a nice kitchenette area. Overall, it was a quiet and cozy place to stay and is only about five minutes up the road from the Seneca Rocks main parking area.
